Due to the pandemics, this year's book fair has been postponed from May to the end of September.
The 27thinstallment of the book fairtakes placebetween the23rdand26th Septemer2021in the Industrial Palace and inKřižík'spavilionsat VýstavištěHolešovice. The guest of honor this year isFrance. The mottoMy Home Is in the Languageis one of the main themes. Topics include questions of identity, languageand diversity, as seen within the blueprint of not only the Czech language, but also French.
The specific guest-of-honor as well as the selected contemporary themes promise visitors exciting cultural events, programs and activities, and, of course, an opportunity tolook at new book publications. There will be events for children and young adults, and interesting programfor science fiction fans and literary professionals alike. A plentitude of both foreign guestsand Czech authors is expected.

KK Bagala is a publisher who specializes in contemporary literature. He has published 500 books, found numerous new talents in his short-story competition Poviedka and he organizes dozens literary readings each year.
