i-Portunus 2020-21 organizes 5 open calls to support the international mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals in the sectors of music, literature, architecture and cultural heritage. The deadline forÌýmusic and literary translation isÌý28 FebruaryÌý2021 and the deadline for ²¹°ù³¦³ó¾±³Ù±ð³¦³Ù³Ü°ù±ðÌýis 14Ìý²Ñ²¹°ù³¦³ó 2021.Ìý
Mobility should focus on international collaboration, professional development and production oriented residencies. In every sector i-Portunus focuses on specific needs.Ìý
i-Portunus foresees a total budget of 500.000,00 EUR, spread over the upcoming five calls. Financial support will exist out of a fixed amount per applicant for transportation and a per diem, depending on the destination country.Ìý
To apply, you should organize a project with a host institution/partner/fellow in another Creative Europe country. As inspiration you could visit the database ofÌý, where host organisations that previously welcomed i-Portunus grantees are highlighted.ÌýIn your application you would need to describe the project and its main objective, being international collaboration, production oriented residency, or professional development. You should explain how mobility will allow you to achieve the stated object and provide documents showing that you have made plans with a partner and that the partner is committed to your project.

On Wednesday 3 February 2021 TransArtists organizes a webinar about i-Portunus. During thisÌý, representatives from the consortium will give more details about i-Portunus, as well as focus on the current open calls – for music, literary translation and architecture. There will also be presentations from two artists who were beneficiaries of the funding scheme in 2019.
i-Portunus continues to support the mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals among all countries participating in the Creative Europe Programme. A second pilot project was selected and co-funded by the Creative Europe program and a consortium headed by Goethe-Institut with Institut français and Izolyatsia. This second phase runs from the end of 2020 until the end of 2021.
