Helliana Ianculescu studied language and literature, and Czech language and literature at the Faculty of Slavic languages in Bucharest. She was active in Romanian academia. She has retired and is a freelance translator and a member of the Association of Romanian writers. She has translated Ako chutí moc徱ňč,ʴdzdzíLadislav Ballek,Osudy zlatých pokladovѾղš, Na počiatku bol SumerմٱܲDZý, Stalo sa prvého septembra (alebo inokedy) by Pavol Rankov,
