This story takes us along with eight-year-old Adam to Kremnica, an old mining town in central ia. While getting settled in a new town or making new friends is not easy, an unexpected encounter with the last surviving mine elf, Permoník, makes even an old house with a cobwebbed-cellar and a life with a boring grandfather much more appealing and magical. Thanks to the power of friendship, the elf dares to come to the surface and regains his trust in people. Adam guides Permoník through the present-day world, and in turn the elf takes him to ancient times full of mysterious stories.
