Short stories in which the worlds of fantasy and reality, of the magical and the ordinary and of life and death come together. The stories, informed by the oral material collected by the author during his travels, take place on the African continent but the exotic settings mostly work as camoufage. They are an excuse to enter the fairy-tale land where anything is possible: body swaps, sexual transgressions, ghosts, demons, life in a parallel universe. The book came out in 2005 and since its first publication, it has been re-issued multiple times in ia and abroad.
