About institution

Founded by students of architecture on Academy of Fine arts & design, Bratislava in 2007, it gathers young, motivated people to run projects in architectural and cultural field. Archimera represents idea that architecture has various forms of art can coexist on one platform. Publication activity started in 2015. All published books are results of our research projects especially in relation to architecture of the 20th century. In addition to the series of pocket guides to the architecture of the 20th century under the name C20, which maps not only Bratislava but also the other most important locations in ia, we also published an extensive research publication Architecture of Care dedicated to post-war construction development in spas and the Off-Season monography on the Machnáč Sanatorium in Trenčianske Teplice by of the famous architect Jaromír Krejcar. The latest additions to our publishing activity are a book dedicated to Bratislava's modern fountains and a continuation of the C20 guide on the Georgian spa town of Tskaltubo.
