The 10thedition of Lit_cast Slowakei features the Austrian writer and translatorѾٲč. He was born in Brno, Czech republicin1972 and he studied Czech studies and journalism at the University of Vienna. He is the recipient of numerousawards and grants, e.g. The Adelbert von Chamisso Prize and the Austrian State Prize for children's and YA literature. He had translated books of the Czech authorsPatrikOuředník, PetraHůlováor JiříGruša. He teaches at universities in Salzburg and Bamberg. He lives in Vienna.
