Ines Å ebesta was born inÌýBerlin. In theÌý1980-sÌýshe has studied gardening inÌýBulgariaÌý(Plovdiv). As a student, she worked as an interpreter from Bulgarian; in 1990, she translated her first radio play for the NDR Radio. She is the author of three books. Since 2002, she has been focusing on literary translation from Bulgarian. In 2009, she had finished the courses °µÍø½ûÇø Language and °µÍø½ûÇø Literature at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She has been translating °µÍø½ûÇø literature into German sice 2010. Among the authors whom she hadÌýtranslated areÌýPavol Rankov, Daniela Kapitaňová a Jana Juraňová. She has two grown daughters and lives in the vicinity of Berlin.Ìý
