Leto postávalo v horúcom vzduchu (Summer Lingered in the Hot Air) is a story set in the 1990s, following Nina, who grows up on the outskirts of Trenčín. Her father is a forester and often drags her into the mountains to avoid kindergarten. Nina's grandmother meets Erhard, a wealthy German, in Yugoslavia. Thanks to him, Nina and her parents experience unexpected journeys across the ocean, but also find themselves in situations they'd rather avoid. The friendships of both children and adults sway in the wind, with the distant sound of the Family Frost truck echoing. Above both the calm and dramatic days: the fateful sound of a gunshot.
